Hello everyone from a warm, humid Dartmoor. It’s a bit like being back in the Amazon. Everything is drenched in rain and green.

I’m delighted to say my CD ‘Songs from Nandita’s Dream’ is available from www.nanditasdream.com. It features the gorgeous music of Black Umfolosi, Sheema Mukherjee, Sura Susso and the Rainbow Children’s Choir. It’s 17 tracks of vibrant world music following Nandita’s adventure with The People Tribe.

Black Umfolosi are on tour in the UK at the moment celebrating their 30 years as a group with a new song ‘Summertime’, a treat if you can see them. Sheema Mukherjee has been touring with The Imagined Village and they’re preparing for the performances of her new music commissioned for the Olympics called ‘Bending the Dark’. Sura Susso meanwhile has a wonderful album out. Sura and Black Umfolosi are joining us for Nandita Day in Devon on August 5th. It’s a great celebration of the whole project. Come if you can.
